Theft $50 case Dismissed and Expunged in Tarrant County
Client was arrested for shoplifting at Dillard’s in Hurst. An interview with the client showed that he had a recent seizure before the incident. An interview with the client’s physician and discussion about the incident made clear that client was suffering the aftershock of the seizure during the incident and might possibly been enduring another mild seizure. Corrigan compiled the medical records as well as client’s resume and character letters. Corrigan convinced the DA to dismiss the charge and have it immediately expunged.

2 Counts of Felony Theft Firearm and Theft $50 No-Billed or Dropped in Tarrant County
All Cases Immediately Expunged
Client’s friend stole guns at a gun show in Fort Worth. The police assumed that he was guilty too and arrested him. Corrigan got all the reports from the DA’s Office, identified testable issues, and setup a polygraph with a highly respected examiner. Client passed the polygraph and Corrigan incorporated the report into his grand jury packet which talked more about client’s background and the circumstances of the offense. The Grand Jury No-Billed the case and the DA was convinced to drop a related misdemeanor. Corrigan also convinced the DA to agree to an immediate expunction, so Corrigan filed a Petition and got the entire incident expunged.
